The following students are high-achieving academically and extracirricularly. These students have left a significant mark on the Rochester School District and will be missed.

Reid Loy
Reid was the Rochester Varsity Soccer goalie. He is committed to the University of Iowa. He plans to study biology on a Pre-Optometry Track. While continuing his academic journey, he is looking forward to rooming with his friend and attending “social gatherings”. When asked where he sees himself in 10 years, he says he wants to be married with kids and have a successful career as an ophthalmologist. Reid says that his mom and dad are his biggest inspirations.
Delaynie Raufer
While in high school, Delaynie has been heavily involved in many bands and music in the community. After high school, Delaynie plans to attend Illinois Wesleyan University, majoring in accounting with a minor in music. She looks forward to playing in the IWU pep band. Delaynie’s goal is to have a lot of money and budget it well. She plans to move to Boston and live with a cute dog. She hopes to have paid off all of her debt. Delaynie says that her “great grandma Marcia, inspires her the most.”
Alexa (Allie) Kerwin
Allie is truly an inspiration to everyone around her, and there is no doubt she will be successful in the future. She is attending Illinois State University, majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology on a Pre-Med Track. Allie is most excited about marching with ISU’s “Big Red Marching Machine”. In 10 years, she will be completing her residency after graduating from medical school, and she also plans to be married. Allie wants to “become a successful doctor, have a family, and live in a supportive community.” Overall, she says she “just wants to be happy and satisfied with what I have been able to accomplish.” Allie says that her parents have been her biggest supporters because they always push her to challenge herself.
